I'll start by grabbing just a small section of hair here at the base of your neck and then I'll have to keep the rest of this out of the way for a minute. With my hair back here I'm going to wet it down so that we do not have flyaways and then I'm going to do two braids so I divide this section in half and I'm going to do a braid on each side.

You can really make any type of braid you want I'm going to do regular three strand braids as you're starting this braid you want to make sure you're not getting it super tight up to the top of your head I'm just letting that loose And then I'll braid heavily the rest of the way down braided this up as far as I can go and I'll tie this up with a rubber band and Then the same thing over here I'll make another braid and tie it all down well I went ahead and I made the second braid so this is what it looks like.

Now I'm going to put this hair down I'm actually going to put these braids on your shoulder just so they're out of my way I'm going to be doing a French braid with the rest of this hair. Usually when I do a braid I would like to start clear here at the top of this braid I'll start here down almost to the bottom so it's hardly going to be a French braid and if you want to do just a regular plait you can do that in Instead, I'm going to spray your hair down with just a bit of water before it starts so that we do not have flyaways.

So the first strand of hair I'm grabbing is going to be right here above your ears and I'm just coming straight to the center of your head that's where our braids are going to start, so I'm going to split this Section in three and start The braid I'm bringing these filaments over the middle filament if you want to make a Dutch braid instead you could do that it really does not matter and then I'll just be adding in a couple of pieces here from the side I'm taking quite large strings like You can see so I only picked three pieces from each side is not much of a French braid and then I will make a regular plait all the way down.

Well now that I got braided all the way to the bottom I'm going to tie this with a clear rubber band and then I'll go back through and just stretch this braid a bit just so it's not so tight so now we're going to be using These little braids that we leave out in the beginning one at a time I will take the small braids and thread through the right side of the big braid and then this goes to pass on the left side.

So I'll take this and bring it through the bottom of the bigger braid you can start this a little higher in the braid or you can start down lower, like where the French braid ends is really just depends on You I'll climb right here on the last stitch of the French braid and I'll make a hole right there in the center of that braid and then I'll put two of my fingers through There's grab this and just pull it to the Right through the top if you have a Topsy tail you could use it instead and that will help keep your braid a bit cleaner you will not have as many flyaways popping up if you do but I do not know that you all have So I'm teaching you how to do it with your fingers.

So I'm going to lower a stitch and just do the same thing I'm wrapping around and I'm pulling through the bottom and I'm just going to keep doing that until I run out of braids, so I most likely will be going To run out of the small braids before you get to the bottom of this big braid that has a couple of options if you want to leave it half way like this is what we will do you can You can stop right here if You want it going all the way down the braid you can undo this and make other small braids here and then scroll it down a bit further it's really up to you how you want to finish that and then I'll do exactly the same here in This other side and I'm hoping this braid will start at the same point as this is so I'll bring it right through that same hole.

So now that I've left no braids on both sides I'll just take what's left in these little braids and take them to the back and then tie them up with a rubber band over and then if you do not want this and protruding you can take it and Put it under one of these braids up here to keep it
