I have always been known for my body, health and fitness. However, for five months after Viaan was born, I did not think about my weight. I was not able to do some things I used to do before as I had put in 20 kilos. I realized this one day when I bent to pick up Viaan. More than about not being fat was about being fit. Fortunately, I had a good coach. After five and a half months of exercise, he had lost 18 kilos.

Any advice for new moms?


If I can lose weight, anyone can. I would like to tell the new mothers not to be ignored. It's just about exercising for an hour every day for four to five days a week and eating right. Usually, mothers use the excuse of not having time to exercise because they are busy taking care of the child. But that is to be lazy. During the first nine months, a child sleeps a lot. Mothers should use that time to do some cardio and gymnastics. Remember that you are doing it by yourself and to be in shape.
