Eid al Adha or (عید الاضحی) which could be Translated as Celebration of Sacrifice is the Biggest festival of the world Muslims which commemorates the passage contained in both the Bible and the Quran , which shows the willingness of Abraham (Ibrahim) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God, before God intervene to provide a lamb and to sacrifice this animal in place. This festival, which takes place on the tenth day of Zil-Hajj (between October and November ), 70 days after the Eid al-Fitr , is incorporated in the Hajj , the great pilgrimage to Mecca , which must be made at least once and preferably for this month.

The Eid al-Adha is represented by Muslims around the world with the offering of a sacrifice animals (usually a cow or lamb) as an act of gratitude to God for saving the life of Ishmael , son of the prophet Abraham .
